Halleuiah
Halleluiah, written by Martha Scanlon of the Reeltime Travelers, is included in their 2nd album, Living Reeltime, Thinking Oldtime.
This is a beautiful song and I frequently play it at the end of a set, where I feature Bluegrass Gospel. However, despite its title and sound, the song is about a "59 Chevy, gets me to work on time."
The lyric you remember could be Halleluiah, Halleluiah, I'm a going on home - which also sounds like gospel!
Glad you liked it. I try to play something by the Reeltime Travelers every show. Give me a call during BGX at 425.303.9076.
Thanks!
Miss Nicolette
