From family businesses to corporations, businesses can increase awareness of their services while supporting public radio in the North Puget Sound. Becoming a KSER underwriter demonstrates that your business is a leader in supporting and providing valuable community services.

The FCC allows public broadcasters to acknowledge support from businesses with underwriting announcements (but advertisements or commercials are forbidden.)

Underwriting on 90.7 KSER and KSER.ORG is a significant marketing opportunity for businesses, associating your brand with public radio - one of the most trusted brands in the country.

KSER attracts one of the market’s most sought-after demographics. KSER’s audience is comprised of a high concentration of active 30-54 year olds that are well educated, have high disposable income, are discerning in taste and have a socially conscious outlook on life and are passionate about music, politics, and art. By supporting KSER’s programming, your business or organization can reach this valuable audience with on-air marketing messages or through sponsorship of one of KSER’s special events.

Underwriting is an important source of funding for the station. While contributions from listeners accounts for over 50% of our income, underwriting support from the business and non-profit communities is just as important and enables KSER to produce and broadcast programming we could not otherwise provide.

Business Believers

The KSER Business Believer Program is an inexpensive way to let people in your area know that your business supports community radio. For $240 per year, or $20/month, a Business Believer will be recognized on-air once each month as a supporter of KSER. Business Believers are also included in our online business directory.

The Benefits of Becoming An Underwriter

As a KSER Underwriter, you will benefit substantially by gaining:

· Direct access to a concentrated, affluent audience with a powerful, personal commitment to KSER

· Name recognition among professionals and community leaders likely to be interested in your products and services

· Credibility by associating with intelligent, in-depth journalism from the BBC, PRI and the KSER news staff

· Appreciation from your colleagues, customers and peers, who will recognize your commitment to the community

· A listing in our online directory, which our listeners and members use to find businesses that support their values.

Our underwriting representatives can help you design a schedule of underwriting announcements that meets your financial, marketing and philanthropic goals. Your company's underwriting plan can range from exclusive focus on a particular program to a schedule that spans all segments of the day. I received an undeliverable message when I sent a previous request for information on underwriting, so I hope this makes it to an active email address.

I was hoping to work with someone on an underwriting schedule and budget for our upcoming Masters of Scottish Arts Concert in Seattle on February 9th. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Thank you for your help,

donating a van

How can I go about donating a van that has an engine but isn't running?

Becoming A Member

 Hi Scott -

Donating at the $35 level automatically makes you a member.

Thank you! . . . but

Hi, Your killin' it this morning via 89.9. I'm a little remote in the foothills this grey-day and was clicking my radio for someone a little further down the dial but, Bam ! with Supertramp then a marvelous, continuing line-up. I gotta say I was an old-time listener but took a wayward path and damn near forgot you. Just want to thank you again for filling a slice of air with tremendous music. Oh, Ricky Lee now! The question I still have is that I cannot seem to find how to become a "member" despite the "Become a member" link. Takes me to a donation page which I'm gonna do, but no mention of memberizing.
