KSER Foundation Information

Foundation Information

The KSER Foundation is an independent  501(c)3 non-profit foundation governed by a Board of Directors elected annually by our donor/members.

As a community licensee, KSER has no major "institutional" backer. Nearly 50% of our budget comes from listener support. Other sources include rental income from our tower. A smaller proportion of our income is derived from underwriting, special events (such as concerts and our annual event), and grants. Since 2009, we have received no federal funding.

We are licensed by the FCC to operate an educational, non-commercial radio service for listeners in Everett and the surrounding communities of Snohomish, Island, Jefferson, and North King counties.

Our mission is to advance the common good in our community through public radio and other services dedicated to arts, ideas and civic engagement.

Write to the Board at P.O. Box 1106, Everett, WA 98206-1106
