Oso Landslide

Thank you, thank you for all of your messages and concern. My sweetheart and I live just about a mile west of the slide and we, and all our animals, are doing fine.

Despite an evacuation order, we have decided to stay at our home, which is about 30 feet above the river. We are all prepared for no power, plenty to eat, plenty of food for the animals, and so on.

While we have not lost any family, Oso is a small community and neighbors and friends are missing.

Our land line is out and Internet and cell service are a bit touch and go, but we are answering calls and email as we can.

Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers.
