Dance to Hale Bill and the Bopps and singing group Sus

Come and partake of the further festiveness of the season when Hale Bill & the Bopps provides the main fuel for dancing at this year's Jullekstuga. Note: There will be no pre-dance instruction this evening, so the dance will begin at 8 p.m. The Bopps' portion of the program will include their typical array of gammaldans, bygdedans, vocal, instrumental, full group, and small group arrangements—traditional tunes with originals sprinkled in, much like the contents of their new CD, which will be for sale through the evening. In providing the evening's live music, the Bopps will be aided and abetted by the admirably abled Sus. In addition, Bill Boyd will bring along his Hardanger fiddle and Irene Myers will likely play a couple of tunes for Springleik fra Vågå. Get in on some zesty music for dancing up the holidays, help the Bopps celebrate the release of their CD, and complete your holiday shopping, all at the same time. Potluck holiday treats. Thank you!
