Celebrate an early Mother’s Day with the whole family at the Everett Philharmonic’s Season Finale!

Join the Everett Philharmonic Orchestra and Music Director Dr. Paul-Elliott Cobbs as they fascinate you with Listener’s Choice selections in their Season Finale at 7 pm on Saturday, May 5th in Everett’s Civic Auditorium. This captivating performance showcases a charming program featuring Sergei Rachmaninov’s passionate Symphony No 2. Programmed for its dreamy yet mysterious nature, this grand and sweeping work will leave you humming glorious melodies that recently have been made into popular songs. "This is definitely an audience favorite," said Maestro Cobbs of the upcoming performance. "The Enescu and Rachmaninov have been requested by so many of our audience members and rightfully so. Our soloist, Hal Ott, is such an engaging musician; he will captivate your hearts with this performance. The season finale concert promises to be the most exciting of the year!" observes Cobbs.

The Romanian Rhapsody No 1 of George Enescu will open the afternoon with its alluring blend of enchanting melodies and stunning harmonies. Next Bernard Romberg’s Concerto for Flute will tempt the audience with its alluring themes and captivating artistry. Flutist Hal Ott will take center stage for this performance and will undoubtedly work his way into the hearts of all who are in earshot. Dr. Ott is a Distinguised Professor at Central Washington University, a world renowned recitalist and an in demand adjudicator. The audience is in for a rare treat!

The evening concludes with the romance and passion of Rachmaninov’s Symphony No 2. Celebrate the Everett Philharmonic as it proudly brings its magical Second Season to a close.
