Three representatives of workers and worker organizations in Olympia explain their key goals for the session and how they think the NOT ONE MORE DIME campaign will affect their goals. The NOT ONE MORE DIME campaign is a reaction by the many in our state labor movement to the lack of support from state democrats who received significant financial support from labor as well as hundreds of hours of volunteer effort in the 2008 campaigns.

On Saturday, Australians will vote in their national elections. In Australia there are uncanny similarities between the issues that are the focus of the candidates’ concerns and the issues of importance to U.S. voters. These issues include deficit spending, illegal immigrants and progressive v. conservative ideologies.
